Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974, Aviano Italy), American actress. Amy Lou Adams is famous for portraying naive characters that are adorable and enjoyable. Adams began her career as a child of seven living in Castle Rock Colorado. The actress began acting and dancing professionally in the mid-1990s with Boulder Dinner Theatre, and after that, the Country Dinner Playhouse. In Minnesota she worked at a regional theater where her role was in Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) was a mockumentary about beauty magazines. After her screen debut that was successful, in which she played an unfriendly, but obnoxious contestant, Janet relocated from Minnesota to Los Angeles where she began an acting career professionally.
