Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish is known for playing Heidi in Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne (Bright Star 2009) and Sweet Pea as Sucker punch (2011), Lindy in Limitless (2012), Clara Murphy (RoboCop) (2014) and Sarah in Geostorm(2017). She worked along with Martin McDonagh to produce Seven Psychopaths and Three Billboards Beyond Ebbing Missouri. Cornish has won the first Screen Actors Guild Award in the ensemble cast of this movie. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland as well as The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her dad. Ann McDonough played the mother in the film. With the love and encouragement of her parents helped make the choice to study acting a natural choice for the now young Betty Gilpin. When the time came to go back to college, she picked Fordham College where she learned to hone her craft. After graduating, Gilpin began performing in Off-Broadway shows while auditioning for roles in TV and film. The actress was cast as a frequent character in NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent between 2001 and. Then came minor roles as ghosts as a ghost in Ghost Town and The Northern Kingdom. Gilpin continued to land mostly TV guest spots throughout the following years, before getting her first break, in 2013, with the part of Nurse Jackie. Gilpin starred as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin on 34 episodes until Nurse Jackie was cancelled in June 2015. Gilpin also appeared in the mystery thriller True Story (2015).
